Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department, Station 2, 137 Pennsylvania Avenue, Westmoreland County Department 79. Organized, along with Station 1, January 12, 1891. Currently GVFD is made up of 6 stations. This station was built in 1922, but their first station was at the old City Hall, then a move to Mill Street and then to South Main Street in 1894. Station 2 run a tractor driven aerial truck, an air unit, foam unit and a utility.
