Like everyone else, I've sat in my treestand and watched deer pass by out of range. Or on a mountain ridge while the bull gathers his harem on the opposite ridge. I've sat there thinking, "That's where I need to be sitting." While working at another office last week late one evening I saw some deer in a field that was just an undeveloped lot in a business park. The next evening they were there again so I parked in the parking lot of a large office building and took these pictures from maybe 100 yards. Right away I went from, "That one is a buck", to "They are all bucks!" Seven of them. A doe and fawn fed off to the left. I was just 10 miles north of the Baltimore city line.
