Hartsville Fire Company No. 1, 1195 York Road, Warminster, Pa. Bucks County Station 93. Formed in 1923 and formally established in 1924 they were originally housed in a stable stall at the Hartsville Hotel. In 1927 they moved into their first permanent station in the former Lecture Hall at the Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church. They moved out in 1972, possibly into this station.
Hartsville Fire Company 9-11 Memorial is located in front of the fire station along York Road (Pa State Route 263). In September 2003 company members placed 343 American flags in their front lawn for the firefighters killed on 9-11-2001. In 2004 a memorial service was added. Also two more flags were added for John Kulick and Tristan Smith, two local volunteer firefighters killed in Iraq. Later a piece of the World Trade Center was acquired and a more permanent memorial was built.
