Harrington Fire Company, Inc., 20 Clark Street, Harrington, Delaware. Kent County Station 50. Established March 2, 1902, their equipment was stored in a barn in the early years. In 1905\1906 they moved into the former Methodist/Protestant Church on Mechanics Street. A new station was built between 1926 and 1928 and remodeled several times, lastly in 1989. Ambulance service started October 1, 1950. The current station was built and opened in July 2000.
