Humane Hose Company

Humane Hose Company, 129 East Main Street, Norristown, Pa. Montgomery County Station 27C. Organized on July 27, 1852, they first housed their equipment at the old Norris Hose station on Dekalb Street. Then moved to their first firehouse on Airy Street near the Courthouse in 1854. The current building was built and dedicated May 12, 1888. Due to a lack of volunteers they merged with the Norristown Hose Fire Company on January 1, 2012.
In June 2014 the firehouse was sold to Five Saints Distillery, which opened in January 2016.
