


These are some of the different birds I found on my Big Spring walk last weekend. Have you named them all yet? #1. A male Cardinal. Interestingly enough the bird was named after the Roman Catholic priests not the other way around. #2. Eastern Kingbird. I had no idea what this one was until a few weeks ago, I'd bet I've seen four or five since. #3. Red-Tailed Hawk. Duh. He had some other angry birds in hot pursuit. Yes, that is him up in my header. #4. Brown Thrasher. Another bird I knew nothing about until a month and a half ago I watched one sitting in a tree near where I was working.
