OK, I don't know about you all, but I think I'm overdue for a road trip. And that road doesn't need to be really long. Seeing something more than my own four walls would do the soul some good. hmmm

Talking Turkey

In all I think there were eight turkeys working their way through this old corn field. They will going into hiding in just a few weeks when spring gobbler season opens.

And to think we never even left the road. This is early into a wet morning drive through the Michaux State Forest back in early January. HBS

Let It Snow

Well the first day of spring showed up last Friday with a day long snow fall. It took until Saturday afternoon to erase it. Even so, the daffodils are starting to push through and the snow drops are here. I even planted some seeds it the house looking forward to another colorful summer.
