The Committee

I recently had a request for more bird pictures. Well, here you go. I ran into this committee of Turkey Vultures last Sunday morning. The last picture shows 10 of them but there were more in other trees and circling. Now that is a face only a mother could love.

Beale Street Neon

Our 20 hour whirlwind visit to Memphis, Tennessee allowed me a quick 20 minute walk down and back up the infamous Beale Street. Pretty cool place. I didn't really have time to go into any of the restaurants or juke joints but the music was spilling out into the street. Wish I would have had more time.

The Chapel in the Pines

The Chapel in the Pines is located on the grounds of Green Ridge Village retirement facility on the outskirts of Newville, Pa. This little church is no more than 12' by 12'. Inside is 3 two-seat pews on each side of the aisle. The photos on the walls are of those people who have decided to take the marital plunge here. Signage in the flower beds credit George and Liidia Hutt as builders of the Chapel in 1992.

SU Old Main in Blue

Old Main at Shippensburg was lit up blue last night to commemorate World Autism Awareness Day. Old Main along with the Ceddia Union Building were lit for "Light It Up Blue" for the evening.
