Brownsville Fire Department, 11790 Brownsville Road, Lawrence County, Deadwood, South Dakota. Founded in 1958, this station was converted from a bar/museum (2016-2017) and the north bays (right side) were added more recently (2017-2018). The old station is visible on the right of the first picture. It was built in 1990.
Lead Volunteer Fire Department, 622 Hearst Avenue, Lead, Lawrence County, South Dakota. Also headquarters of The State of South Dakota Wildland Fire, Lead Field Office. Old Station at 801 West Main Street, Lead, South Dakota. LVFD was founded February 5, 1914 and moved into the new City Hall building in 1937. The City Hall building was built on the site of the former Alert Hose Company No. 3's hose house on West Main Street. The new/current station on Hearst Avenue was completed in 2012.
