Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park
Moose, Wyoming
October 2018

Shortly after noon on our second day in Yellowstone we rolled into the Grand Teton National Park. Just as we hit the park there was another bear jam. This time it was a bigger grizzly, who FYI, is only about 50 yards from the sign as I took the sign picture. We continued south through the park and into Moose Junction. To just stand there and look at the mountain range was breathtaking. Beautiful. From the visitor center in Moose we drove out Antelope Flats Road to see the famous Mormon Row barns. Then we swung down to Schwabacher Landing to catch the reflections in the Snake River. We later sat at Glacier Point Turnout and waited for a sunset that near really showed up. Spent the night in Jackson, Wyoming and headed back into the park early. Spotted moose, elk, antelope and finally scored our black bear sighting at the visitors center. With overcast skies, by late morning we headed east though the Bridger-Teton National Forest for our final trek across Wyoming.
