City of Easton Fire Department, South Side Station #4, 424 Reynolds Street, Easton, Pa. Northampton County Station 20. Fire service in Easton started in 1797 with the Humane Fire Company. The city's paid department was established in 1879. With the annexation of South Easton in 1882, Engine Company 4 was established at the corner of Reynolds and Berwick Streets. The South Side Station was built in 1904, modernized in the 1940's and underwent a major renovation in 1997.
