Goldsboro Fire Company, No. 1













Goldsboro Fire Company No. 1, 11 1st Avenue, Etters (Goldsboro), Pa. York County Station 28. Old station: 53 North York Street, Etters (Goldsboro), Pa. Goldsboro Fireman's Club: corner of Railroad Street and Zeigler Avenue, Etters (Goldsboro), Pa. Founded in 1911. The old station was built in the 1920's. The dual sirens behind the old station serve as part of Exelon Energy's TMI (Three Mile Island, you can see it behind some of the pictures) emergency alert system. The ASA T-128 will replace the Federal Signal 2001. GFC1 apparatus includes 2 pumpers, a tanker, an ambulance and a boat for river emergencies.
