Cherokee Fire and Rescue, Station 1, 825 Acquoni Road, Cherokee, Swain County, North Carolina. CFR serves the Qualla Boundary in Swain and Jefferson Counties with three stations. The Qualla Boundary is the home of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. The department was formerly known as Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Fire Department. Cherokee Tribal EMS cover the Quallla Boundary and surrounding communities as well as parts of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
