Thompson Fire Engine Company, Inc., 70 Chase Road, Thompson, Connecticut, Windham County Station 84. Organized July 4, 1832 and chartered June 10, 1837. One of six companies serving the town of Thompson. TFEC was the tenth fire company in Connecticut and the first in Windham County. Still all volunteer and first motorized in 1938.
