Saturday was the first bird walk I have taken in a couple of weeks. Lots of rain and gloom have kept me inside on those early weekend mornings. While crossing the stream on a footbridge I saw this little eastern box turtle going under the bridge. I quickly got set up on the other side and snapped away as he drifted by. Just past the bridge he spun around as if to say, "Hi". Then he turn back with the current and off he went.
