Adams Area Fire District, Fire Headquarters, 645 Route 228, Mars, Pa. Butler County Station 42. The Adams Area Fire District was formed from the consolidation of Mars Volunteer Fire Department (old Butler County Station 18) and the Community Volunteer Fire Company of Valencia (old Butler County Station 17) on April 1, 2007. Until this new station opened in July 2017 they were running calls out of three stations; the old Mars Station (shown here, 109 Irvine Street, Mars, Pa.), the Valencia Station and the Seven Fields Substation (formerly AAFD Station 3)
