Clear Creek Fire Authority, Idaho Springs Fire Department, 2000 Colorado Boulevard, Idaho Springs, Colorado. Clear Creek County Station 2. Organized in 1878, and a reorganization in 1920 consolidated the three companies. In 1989 ISVFD signed an agreement with the Clear Creek Emergency Service District. And in 1998 be came part of the Clear Creek Fire Authority. The CCFA was a consolidation of Dumont, Empire, Georgetown, Idaho Springs, Silver Plume, St. Mary's Glacier and York Gulch Fire Departments. This station was built in the 1960's.
