Idaho Springs Fire Department, old Hose Hose Number 2, 600 Colorado Boulevard, Idaho Springs, Colorado. The volunteer fire department in Idaho Springs was organized in 1878, this hose house was built in 1882. Also known as West End Hose House and the 6th and Colorado Hose House. HH2 was used until 1929. The ISVFD reorganized in 1920 consolidating the volunteer houses. In 1989 they signed an agreement with the Clear Creek Emergency Services District and in 1998 they became a part of the Clear Creek Fire Authority. This building was restored in 2022/2023.
