Topeka Fire Department, Station 4





Topeka Fire Department, Station 4, 813 Southwest Clay Street, Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas. TFD was formed in 1870 and currently operate out of 12 stations. Station 4 was originally built in 1887, the current station was built in 1927 and has the only fire poles still in service (there are three in the firehouse) in the entire department. This station is also home to the Fire Investigation Team and is first due to the State Capitol Building.

Terre Haute Fire Department, Station 6





Terre Haute Fire Department, Station 6, 2600 Hulman Street, Terre Haute, Indiana. Vigo County. THFD was established as a volunteer fire department in 1855 and became fully paid in 1894. They respond from a total of 8 station with 150 firefighters, 6 engines, 2 trucks, a tanker, a rescue and 3 paramedic ambulances, as well as a haz-mat response team. Station 6, aka "the Sixes" date back to 1888 and were located at Thirteenth and Crawford Streets until 1954. This station was dedicated February 18, 1961.
