Campbell County Fire Department, Old Station No. 1 and Fleet Maintenance








Campbell County Fire Department, Fleet Maintenance and old Station 1, 513 West Second Street, Gillette, Wyoming. The Gillette Fire Department began in 1906 when the City Marshall was given the position of Fire Marshal. In 1975 the City and County officials combined services. The old station was built in 1974 and the new station/HQ, across the street, was built in 2007. CCFD is a combination part time and full time department with 10 stations (9 in Gillette and 1 in Wright) and the respond to over 2000 calls each years.

Casper Fire Department, old Station 1




Casper Fire-EMS Department, old Station 1, 302 South David Street, Casper, Wyoming. Natrona County. Casper Fire Department was established October 12, 1895. On May 4, 1917 the volunteers voted to transfer all equipment to the city, a meeting to reorganize the department was held June 6, 1917. Old Station 1 was built in 1921 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 193. CFEMS operate 5 stations and last year ran 8809 call, nearly 5800 of those were EMS calls. The new Station 1 was opened November 14, 1976.

The west side of the building is used as the Casper/Natrona Fallen Firefighters Memorial.

Cheyenne Fire Department, Station 2




Cheyenne Fire Department, Station 2, 514 West Fox Farm Road, Cheyenne, Wyoming, Laramie County. Station 2 was built in 1985 and moved into, from the old Clark Hose Company building, in 1995. Cheyenne Fire Department was formed in 1909 from the four original companies located in Cheyenne. Durant Steam Fire Company was formed in 1874, Albert Hose Company was formed in 1877, Pioneer Hook and Ladder Company and Clark Hose Company was both organized in 1888. CFD ran 9264 calls in 2020, Station 2 ran 1918 calls.

Edgerton Volunteer Fire Department





Edgerton Volunteer Fire Department, corner of Second and Elm Street, Edgerton, Wyoming, Natrona County.  A joint station was built in 2014 by the Salt Creek Emergency Services to house the Midwest and Edgerton Fire Departments. The old EFD building, shown here, was to be used as a maintenance shop. It is unclear whether they was an official merger.

Douglas Fire Department, 230 North 2nd Street, Douglas, Wyoming, Converse County. On December 9, 1889, the first fire company, Douglas Hose Company was organized. DFD is all volunteer.
