Idaho Springs Hose House No. 2, old station
Idaho Springs Fire Department, old Hose Hose Number 2, 600 Colorado Boulevard, Idaho Springs, Colorado. The volunteer fire department in Idaho Springs was organized in 1878, this hose house was built in 1882. Also known as West End Hose House and the 6th and Colorado Hose House. HH2 was used until 1929. The ISVFD reorganized in 1920 consolidating the volunteer houses. In 1989 they signed an agreement with the Clear Creek Emergency Services District and in 1998 they became a part of the Clear Creek Fire Authority. This building was restored in 2022/2023. These photos were taken in late September 2022.

2016 Tennessee Wildfires Memorial and Tribute Plaza
2016 Wildfires Memorial and Tribute Plaza, 622 Historic Nature Trail (intersection of Airport Road and Cherokee Orchard Road), Gatlinburg, Sevier County, Tennessee. This memorial, located at Mynatt Park, was dedicated on June 9, 2023 by the City of Gatlinburg and Sevier County. It includes two separate plazas, one on either side of LeConte Creek. One side is a tribute to all the first responders and emergency organizations that were involved and the other is a memorial to the 14 civilians who lost their lives in the wildfires. "On the evening of November 28, 2016 the Chimney Tops 2 wildfire swept out of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and into Gatlinburg and Sevier County." The fire burnt approximately 10,000 acres inside the park and 6,000 acres outside of the park.

Idaho Springs Fire Department, old Central Hose House
Idaho Springs Fire Department, old Central Hose Hose, 1340 Miner Street, Idaho Springs, Colorado. Organized in 1878, the volunteer fire department in Idaho Springs built the original Central Hose House. That was replaced by this building in 1912. The ISVFD reorganized in 1920 consolidating the volunteer houses. In 1989 they signed an agreement with the Clear Creek Emergency Services District and in 1998 they became a part of the Clear Creek Fire Authority. Central Station was moved to the renovated King Hotel across the street in 1960 and again to it's current house east on Colorado Boulevard. This old Hose House was restored by the Historical Society as a museum in 2010.

Erie Fire Department, old Central Station
Erie Fire Department, old Central Station, 144 West 12th Street (PA-5), Erie, Pennsylvania. Erie County Department 32. Volunteer fire service began in Erie with the in 1826. The city career department formed in 1871 and currently run out of 7 stations. the Old Central Station was built 1931. It was, a one point, home to Engine Company 3. The firehouse was closed, possibly in the late 1990's when the new Central Station opened just a block west on West 12th Street.
