Here are the rest of my pictures from Tuesday's baseball game in Harrisburg. The Harrisburg Senators beat the New Britain Rock Cats 6-4.

 Oh yeah, the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders were there and performed between innings.

Senators Win

Went to Metro Bank Park on City Island to see the Harrisburg Senators last night. This was my first time back on the Island since 2011. The Senators won 6-4 over the New Briton Rock Cats. They did it in just three and a half hours of 90 degree heat. I think they used every pitcher they each had. There was, like, 30 hits in the game. I went for the game and not because the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders were there. More pictures later!

The Mountain Side of Maryland

This is the view from the National Highway near Rocky Gap State Park in Allegany County, Maryland. After spending a lot of time here this spring and summer I should have more pictures like this than I do. It is so hard to believe that this is the same state as Baltimore or Ocean City.

The Country Music Hall of Fame

The Country Music Hall of Fame was on of our final visits during our time in Nashville. By this time the city was getting completely over run by the CMA Fest crowds and traffic. The CMHoF was created in 1961 and built their first building in 1967 and opened the current building in 2001. While interesting I though that they glazed over some of the more important people in country music history. I realize that what is today country music started as a wide variety of different and distinct music. But to give Hank Williams as much, or less, area than some of the stars of the eighties who are no longer around is to belittle Hank's importance. They did have a full exhibit to Patsy Cline at the time of our visit. But they are planning to double the space in the next couple of years so maybe this can be resolved.

Wellsville Fire Company

Wellsville Fire Company, 95 Community Street, Wellsville, Pa. York County Station 66. Wellsville Fire Company covers all of Wellsville Borough, Warrington Township and about one third of Washington Township. They run on average 180 calls every year. The WFC was chartered in 1941 and had land donated for a fire station and community room. World War II slowed things down but in 1946 they built the 40' by 100' community room with the fire apparatus on the ground floor. The current engine room was added in 1974.

Kornfield Kounty

The old cornfield from Hee-Haw was set up in the Country Music Hall of Fame. Not near as big as it looked on TV. The signs tell about Stringbean and Archie Campbell, Grandpa Jones, Lulu Roman and Junior Samples. And about the Hee-Haw show, which aired between 1969 and 1992.

Summer Flowers

The spring flowers are mostly gone and the summer flowers seem to all almost be in bloom. I think there is still a daylily or two that hasn't bloomed.  And, yes, that is a green flower.
