West Grove Fire Company, Station 22

West Grove Fire Company, Station 22, 101 Walnut Avenue, West Grove, Pa. Chester County. The WGFC was formed in 1904 and incorporated in 1905. The original station was built in 1928 and sits along Prospect Street just to the east of this, the current main station. In 1993 and second station was built in New London and in 2012 a third station was built in London Britain Township.

You Can't Get There From Here

Multi-directional signpost at Denali Village, Alaska. This is a far north strip mall of sorts. A regular souvenir row. (Right now, midnight eastern time, it is 3 degrees warmer in Shippensburg than it is in Denali, Alaska.)

Think Warm

As I write this it is 9 degrees outside. The wind chill is -5. Even trying to think warm doesn't much above 40. So enough it'll be 90 so I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Red-Tailed Hawk on the Trail Cam

I set a trail camera up overlooking a deer carcass just to see what would show up for the free meal. In the week it was out I got 170 pictures. I think 100 of them included a black and white cat who had to have gained 10 pounds. Along with a opossum this Red-Tailed Hawk visited twice.

Buzzard's Rock

This isn't the first time I've posted from Buzzard's Rock. Might be the 3rd or 4th time. This was taken last Sunday when everyone down in the valley was hanging out in the fog and drizzle. Here along Hog's Head Road we were above it all.

Lucas 2015

Yeah, I know what I said about people pictures but sometimes you can make exceptions. I went out twice with Luke. First into the high school for sports type pictures and then once the leaves started to change we drove up to Kings Gap. We didn't take a ton of pictures but we did get some keepers.
