West Shore Theater

The West Shore Theater on Bridge Street in New Cumberland originally opened in 1939 but by 1986 had run it's course and fell victim to the big movie mega-plex theater centers. It reopened in 1993 and switched to digital in 2014. But it now looks like it is showing currentish movies but the sign to the side says 'for sale'.

Not bad all around this year. The Best of Show picture was of the Mormon Barn with the Grand Tetons in the background. Must have been a theme this year.

Blanca

This is the view from the intersection of 4th Avenue (US Highway 160) and Broadway in the town of Blanca, Colorado. Straight ahead is the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and behind the low clouds is Blanca Peak. Blanca Peak, at 14,351 feet above sea level, is the forth highest summit in Colorado.

Sand Crabs and the White Ibis

I see sand crabs on the beach. The White Ibis sees breakfast. I guess it's an Ibis eat crab world out there. Stay alert.

FNB Field, Harrisburg

Well, Thursday was my first time at FNB Field on City Island in Harrisburg. FNB Field is the home of the Harrisburg Senators, double A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. Oh, I've been to Riverside Stadium, Commerce Bank Park and Metro Bank Park and they all sat right here. The Senators were playing the Richmond Flying Squirrels, and they won. Richmond is a farm team for the San Francisco Giants.These pictures are with my cellphone, I didn't take the big camera in with me.
