Harrisonburg Fire Department, Station 4 and Hose Company No. 4
Harrisonburg Fire Department, Station 4 , 210 East Rock Street, Harrisonburg Virginia, Rockingham County. HFD is a career department with four stations in the city. Founded 1949, they purchased their first hand pumper in the early 1870's.
Hose Company Number 4, 210 East Rock Street, Harrisonburg Virginia, Rockingham County. HC4 is a volunteer company with 2 stations, Station 2 is located to the south of the city on Port Republic Road. They were founded in 1890. Their first due is the area around the city and the most central spot for them is being in the city.
The firehouse was built in the early 1970's and also houses HFD's antique, a 1954 American La France 85' aerial ladder truck.
