Nesquehoning Hose Company No. 1, 953 East Catawissa Street, Nesquehoning, Pa. Schuylkill County District 13. Organized in 1908. Their first station was built in 1911 at the intersection of Center and School Streets in downtown. Work began in 1997 to built a new station on East Catawissa Street, on the east side of town. This building was dedicated May 30, 1998. NHC covers the borough of Nesquehoning and the surrounding townships.
