OK, It's Midnight...Now Drop'em

Depending on where you're from at the stroke of midnight on December 31st you and all your neighbors could be standing in the cold watching something drop. Or rise. I know that within an hour or so drive from here I could've seen a Strawberry, a Hershey Kiss, a Chicken, a Goat, a Cow (I thought you just tipped these), a 9 foot bag of Potato Chips, a Red or White Rose, a Bologna (yes, real smoked meat) a Car or even a Pickle. In Shippensburg, for the whatever year now, an Anchor will be dropped on the square. Oh, there will be hours of fun and games leading up to it and at quarter 'til the bars will temporarily empty onto the streets, and right along with Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest we'll count down, drop the anchor and go home. See you next year.
