One last elk picture for the week. This is the bull and cow from yesterday's post. Yesterday's picture was taken Saturday evening this was taken in the same general area Sunday morning. The light at this time was very cooperative. 20 minutes later it was raining and time to head for home. More Elk County pictures this weekend but they'll be more in the fall color category.

Haney if that is the same bull as yesterday's post, check out the video closely that I posted yesterday. It is the same bull. Note the extra tine towards the top of the right antler. Did you listen to him bugle, very distinctive, sounds like he is tired of giving the cows heck.
Heading to Shenandoah soon to photograph the whitetail (I hope). We need to head to Gettysburg for the rut. I need a wildlife fix already.
