Name that Station 8

OK, we're going to switch things up a bit this week. We are giving Cumberland County a rest. These are all Franklin County stations. Being from Shippensburg and since the Cumberland Franklin line goes through town I'm allowing myself this change. Fourth one is a bonus. Good luck, see you again at 1 this week, give the lunch crowd time to play along.

Okay Kevin, after moving away 16 years ago I am a little rusty on my Franklin County stations but I think I can nail this one.

#1 is Waynesboro, Always There Hook and Ladder. I think they have since become one FD in Waynesboro.

#2 Marion 8 new station, I have not been in the building yet, some day.

#3 MaKinnley Street Station in Chambersburg, the Friendship operates that big oversized tanker/pumper out of it.

#4 I do not know, but there is some similarities to the old Mont Alto station if my memory is serves me right.

Got your mesage and will send a reply soon. And by the way I can't play next week.

Ok Lets try this. first one is from waynesboro, but it is the Mechanics fire station. The second one is the new station a Marion. The third is Chambersburg Fire Dept. McKinnley street, Engine 1-4 & an Amb. The big tanker/engine moved out and is located on Wolfe ave. And the fourth I would go with Brad and say Mt Alto's old station. It does look like Fayetteville's first station but there built around it and it was an old garage too.

So if 14 moved out of the firehouse to Wolfe Avenue do they still run calls? Is this over the article in the PO and the new chief wanting them to meet his standards? Whats up? Fill me in.

Yes, Yes, Yes. There are trying, but it is along story. They first moved to South Main St., left there and moved to Wolfe Ave. Are you going to Pump Primers tomorrow?

Ok after some research and making the picture bigger to read the sign and looking up in the phone book this would be a fire station located in Marion. I guess this is there first one, than they moved to the one along RT 11 than built the current one.

Holy Crap, Sparky. Didn't think I needed to blank out the signs on that one.
