The Covered Bridge at Messiah College

Sometimes Google doesn't know everything. I found little information on this old covered bridge. I'm sure it has a better name than "The Covered Bridge at Messiah College" but that is literally the only name I found for it. Just being there, though, I can tell you that it spans the Yellow Breeches Creek and connects Messiah College, in Grantham, Pa., to the athletic fields.

The Covered Bridge is a familiar landmark on the Messiah Campus, located above the Yellow Breeches Creek. Officially named "The Bowmansdale Bridge," it was moved to Messiah College campus and rebuilt by students in 1973. The timber deck has been replaced by a cement and steel deck. It is one of the few covered bridges left in Cumberland County. Today, the bridge connects the rest of campus to Starry Athletic Fields.
