The Barn on Furnace Hollow Road

This is an old barn that sits outside of Walnut Bottom, Pa. on Furnace Hollow Road right before you start hitting all of the trees of the state forest lands. Years ago before technology stole our lives we used to drive around spotlighting deer (legally) and these fields and the ones across the road were guaranteed hot spots. Of course that was in the dating days BK (Before Kids).

Nice! It doesn't look like it could withstand a heavy wind storm.

Hi Haney!

This poor thing... I wish there was a use for these old barns & they didn't have to just sit & rot... of course, I don't know what I expect the owners to do w/ them if they have no use for them anymore, because it sure breaks my heart to see or hear of one being torn down! So, in conclusion, I guess it's better they let them stand so that barn lovers like us can still photograph them, right! =)
I love it & thanks so much for joining, Haney!!! =)

That barn must have really been something in its heyday.
