Did you say, Possum Trot?

Ha Ha. Possum Trot, that's funny. I know what a possum is (I once heard the average life span of a possum is 18 months). And I know several meanings of the word trot. One is a jog the other refers to Mr. Montezuma's payback. You know, if you Google Possum Trot you'll find it everywhere. It is a town, area or unincorporated village in Tennessee, Texas, Kentucky, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi and Missouri. It's a golf course in South Carolina (as shown here), a 10K run at the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell, Georgia and a 5K walk/run in Wausau, Florida. It's a Supper Club in Oakwood, Illinois and an Orienteering Club in the greater Kansas City area. A cattle ranch in Valley Mills, Texas, A veterinary Clinic in Rome, Georgia, an amateur radio club in North Carolina and a church in Mt. Berry, Georgia. And the Possum Trot - Sharpe Fire Department in Calvert City, Kentucky have their own website. And if you're really lucky you can find the Possum Trot Orchestra's latest CD on eBay. So, I guess the last laugh is on me.
